Timber Decks, glass or timber balustrading

All our decks are either built from rebuilding a deck, plan design or your own design, you can choose between hardwood or softwood decking materials. We generally use posts, beams & joists out of treated pine and Merbau for the decking, or a cheaper alternative using treated pine decking materials. Stairs can also be built using treated pine or Merbau timbers.

Timber decks are generally supported upon timber or steel posts,

depending on the ground surface beneath. Some decks can be built straight onto concrete areas. instead of pulling up the old concrete the joists themselves can be connected to the concrete, even if the concrete is not lying level, the joists can be packed and bolted in a way to keep the decking it self level.

All decks outside should be built with hardy materials that can withstand the Australian elements. ie - Tallowwood, Brush box, Blue gum, Black but, Merbau, Stringy bark, Northern rivers reds, Iron bark,& Treated Pine
