User - Robyn MyTradie.com Yes you can cut the tiles with a diamond blade in a small grinder, I suggest you use a tradesman to do it. Before you put the new tiles on the wall you will have to cut the new tiles also, that is if the new tiles are 40x40 also.
User - Peter Smith Topic - Fibro sheeting Question - We are installing a new floor to an existing building with 30mm fibro sheets please could you advise on the fixing adhesive recommended and any other additional fixings required also the procedure and if we need to stagger the joints MyTradie.com 30mm sheets are very thick, why are you using 30mm thick fibro sheets? Before i can answer your question properly i need to know what floor surface or joists you are putting the fibro onto?
User - Julie Topic - Cement sheeting Question - Could you tell me the correct way to cover the joins in cement sheeting Thanks MyTradie.com If the 4.5mm cement sheeting is not already in place, then you need a plastic strip called Luminex, most hardware stores sell this product. If the sheeting is already in place and you cannot install the Luminex, then you can fill the gaps with paintable filling products like silicone, builders bog or no more gaps, which ever is easier for you to use
