Ask my tradie - Questions & answers

Door handles and locks can be tricky business if you

are not farmilar with them. when a door does not close or shut properly it could be one of the following things. Your door has moved, the door has swollen or buckled due to heat or water, or simply your lock is damaged. Try to asses any of these before you repair the problem. It could also be a number of problems in witch you may want to replace the whole door and lock. If this is the case then calling a carpenter to do the job is probably the best thing to do in the long run.
